For three weeks in June and July of 2017 four Korean and one Japanese improviser toured four major centers in Aotearoa New Zealand. The aim in each place was to make collaborative works with local artists. The sounds included here are excerpts from some of the 13 live events that took place, and represents a minor attempt to make available a document from those meetings.
The sounds to be heard here are somewhat from an audience perspective, and succeed in describing the general live ambience. The recording style and the spontaneous sound outcome ethos of the events conspire to plea in sympathy for the existence of all these moments of co-authorship.
